Vietnam is one of the most spectacular places I have ever been. Long, white sand beaches, forrested mountains, warm people and great food make this a escape like no other. Imagine 12 exotic days, Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh (Sai Gon), great hotels and the chance to see a country in a way that many only dream of. See the French opera house in Hanoi, the mystical Ha Long bay, the mountain people of Sapa, the former Imperial capital of Hue,

Hanoi/Sapa/Ha Long Bay (3 days)
We arrive at the Hanoi airport and settle into our hotel. The next day is a mellow tour of this great city, it's people and its restaurants. Day 2 we are off to Sapa to experience the food and the culture of these wonderful people. Day 3 Ha Long bay. Tour the bay and experience its ethreal beauty.The morning of day 4 we fly to Hue. |

Hue/Danang/Hoi An (4 days)
We arrive and settle in at our great hotel, grab a bite to eat and then we are off to explore the ancient capitol of Vietnam. Home to the dynasties that ruled this country for centuries, Hue is a destination like no other. Morning of day 5 we leave Hue for Danang, about 1 hour to the south. After checking in to our beachfront resort we have some r&r time. Perhaps an afternoon cooking class and then an evening beach BBQ. We leave the morning of day 6 for Hoi An, an old silk route port. Spending days 6 and 7 here, we truly get the feeling of this country. One day r&r, the next a trip to the Cham ruins of My Som. Dinner(s) are out each night. |

Dalat, Nha Trang, HCMC (Saigon) & the Delta (4 Days)
The morning of day 8 we leave Hoi An for Dalat, in the central highlands. Spending the day in Dalat (and perhaps the night) we then leave for the beachside resort of Nha Trang. Day 9 is an r&r day, with nothing to do but relax...unless you really want to see this great beach town. Day 10 and we are off to HCMC (Saigon). Touring this hugh city, we have the last 2 days to do what we want. Perhaps a visit to the delta, eating pho day and night, seeing the old American embassy or the Cu Chi tunnels. The morning of day 13 we leave HCMC to come home. |
