Seems like only yesterday that we were installing the hood for the kitchen, hammers pounding nails into drywall and saws ripping plywood. …they are about to get a whole lot crazier, for me anyway. Before I start going back to posting recipes on the blog (I have the time now to do this) I just wanted to take a few minutes and try and get everyone up to date on what is going on with the hotel [...]
So this is NOT about things that live under your bed, nor things that make weird noises in the night. It is though about change, and change is good no matter what form it takes.
The changes are, new Sous chef, new restaurant logo, new menu…in that order.
OK…so I will probably get in trouble for this one, but…I could hold back no longer. Since we opened the Glass Door the Porto Vista hotel (where the restaurant is located) has been in some state of construction. Much to my relief, that seems to be winding down.
